Played my 3rd mission in Purple Haze.

I didn’t get the extra mission, but nobody died, so that’s better than the last one. Lots of characters have high stress though.

I’m rather enjoying it, and hope to play it co-op with friends as well. I like the choose your own adventure nature of the campaign.

Tried playing Purple Haze today. It was interesting, but a key part of the “March” action is not in the rules, but only described on the reference sheet, so I wasn’t resolving encounters.

I liked it, but it does take up a ton of space. I’ll have to try again with the actual rules. I’ll see how it plays in full another time.

First time giving the Siege of Malta a go.

I played the Knights, but on advice from forums I played it so that morale drops for Knights drop a whole number instead of just a box.

Still won handily, reducing the Turkish morale while there were still 5 cards to go.

Next time I’ll probably remove the dice modifiers as well.

Okay, next time I’ll be the Turks, that’s supposed to be much more difficult.

Love the concept and enjoyed the game.

I‘m an environmental #physicist by training, but after three years of parental leave I started a new job as a consulting software #developer. I work(ed) with a lot of different technologies: #swiftlang, #java, #csharp, #cplusplus, #angular, #perl, … My preferred computing platform is the #Mac.

In my spare time I love to play #tabletopgames of all kinds: #boardgames, #cardgames, #miniature games and #rpg’s. When I‘m by myself I also enjoy #sologames or (mostly) older #videogames.

Legacy of Yu

I had one more loss I could take, so my only goal that game was to remove the barbarian fort.

Managed to get a draw that let me defeat the fort after two hands. And then pushed the canal. Not having to deal with the fort, I managed to win the last game.

Overall I had a good experience. I like that the campaign is resettable. If you are looking for a card based, resource management story game, I recommend it.

Legacy of Yu Campaign report

After two losses in a row, I got the hang of the game and won the next six. One more win would finish the campaign, but at this point it was too easy.

So I used all three optional rules to increase the difficulty. Add in promo barbarian, start with two barbarians, start with two less cards in the deck.

Proceeded to lose the next three games.

Played my second game of Legacy of Yu.

Once again overwhelmed by barbarians.

Played my third game of Legacy of Yu. Focused on getting workers every turn. Built up resources after the third canal. Crushed it.

Definitely enjoying this game. Recommended for an interesting solo campaign experience.

The destruction of the dock fueled Hans. The Damned victim unleashed his Dark Power.

, Reiko, unleashed a series of blows. It seemed Hans might be human after all. Then he looked up, his beady eyes staring out at her from beneath his Pig Mask. Reiko ran to the cabins leaving a final victim.

Sadly, Hans chose to leave one victim to tell the tale as he hunted Reiko. He crept up behind her, and she looked up and screamed as his sledgehammer fell…fade to credits.

Though Reiko had saved 5 of the victims, one of idiots still in camp ended up bringing some dynamite with them to the lake in a desperate attempt to kill Hans.

Unfortunately, Hans had left and the only thing he succeeded at was killing the other 4 victims who’d fled the Lake.

We’ve nearly reached the Climax of the movie, and I’ve yet to even give Hans a stern talking to.
