Looking down at ice on a sandy surface. There are some frozen air bubbles in the ice, and some of them look like eyes and a nose, while a lighter colored curving streak of sand below looks like an unhappy mouth.

Go into garage and get this look.

a running belt with water bottles on top of Ryobi table saw looks like eyes being rolled towards ceiling, the angle adjust of saw kind of like a mouth. There’s also other warmer weather activity items piled on saw because that’s how I organize.

One last one from today’s hike, a really old truck being reclaimed by earth with a rather opinionated #pareidolia

what’s left of front half of truck, left axle/wheel, engine, bumper, steering wheel, and driveshaft. Where the driveshaft couple to engine there’s a couple bolts and square overhang, and then another coupling that looks very face like and none too impressed by any of this but resolute to hold on all the same

An ancient martian impact structure, its surroundings largely covered with sand. There are a few smaller craters in the vicinity.

The centre has been filled with darker wind-blown volcanic material & more recently, a strange intersecting canyon system has been created, perhaps by tectonic activity.

Mist has accumulated overnight around the canyon.

I love a bit of pareidolia (the human habit of seeing faces in inanimate objects), and these fungi growing out of a sign post, which I came across to today's lunchtime dog walk in Glasgow, have created a great example. It reminds me of someone, but I can't quite put my finger on exactly who - possiby Beaker from the Muppet Show?
