It came in today: a rotary valve pocket cornet (not a trumpet). Build quality is OK. Ergonomics are OK (it could use thumb and pinky hooks). It plays decent enough. Some notes don't slot as easily as I'd like. Better tone than I expected, but it has a full-sized bell which helps.
