Diamine Blue Orient, a turquoise with red sheen, was a limited edition ink first issued exclusively for Fountain Pen Network-Philippines' 10th anniversary in 2018. Due to popular demand, a slightly more saturated reformulation has returned and will be available at the Manila Pen Show 2025! Proceeds from the sale of Diamine Blue Orient will all go to Save The Children, which the Manila Pen Show has been supporting since 2018.
Kasama Pens, in a partnership with Kustom Magz Creations, offers the Kasama Tala in Ultem and PEEK with Brass Filigree fountain pens at the Manila Pen Show 2025. The overlay is beautiful and was executed by metal artist Marco Kris Magallona. It is based on the Filipino creation myth of the first man and woman, Malakas (Strength) and Maganda (Beauty). I missed getting a slot for the Sailor Ink Blending this year at the Manila Pen Show 2025, but was put on a waiting list. I have been searching for a color I wanted to create/recreate, and I chose a purple close to Lamy Dark Lilac but not exactly the same (I do not want sheen, just a rich purple). So I have found a couple of image pegs below. I will call the ink Hanashobu, after the Japanese iris.
