David Annandale<p>In my childhood days of horror film fandom, when home video was not even on the horizon (and the idea of being able to carry around a library of thousands of movies in your pocket would have been impossible to articulate, even as a fantasy), I experienced horror films almost exclusively as still images in books and magazines.
