In ep 6 of The Fall of the House of Usher, Lenore watches the end of a black and white movie that appears to be an adaptation of The Pit and Pendulum, but I can't find which movie that is. I just keep coming up with the 1961 Vincent Price adaptation.
Anyone know which movie that was in the show?
@stina_marie Hurmm..I don't think so. It was definitely a Hollywood production. I think Universal Studios. I suspect it wasn't called Pit and the Pendulum, but just had a final scene based on the story.
@rottenartist Yeah, I just remember seeing it in black & white and going, "Oh! A deliberate Pit & The Pendulum reference!" But I agree with you. It's some random horror movie with that scene. I hope you find out, I'm curious.

@12pt9 I don't think it's any of those. I suspect the problem will be that it isn't named Pit and the Pendulum
@rottenartist A petty. Wikipedia is also pretty incomplete.
@rottenartist I read that it was The Raven (but I haven't seen it so don't know if that's right)
