@multiverseofbadness The complete disconnect from reality and lack of any compassion is something I’ve never seen before. I would love to talk to some Germans from WWII to see if this sort of thinking was what they saw in their country. What I’m seeing isn’t satisfaction, it is pure glee. It sickens me.

We are living in a dark time right now and in a couple decades, there are going to be so many stories written about how shitty it was to be brown in America at this time. Maybe then, people will realize how disgusting it all is.
@jacklaridian @multiverseofbadness I hope there is going to be a time of deep reflection of who we are as a people, what about our culture would allow this to happen. We’ll say never again, but it always happens again. Sorry about the Trail of Tears, sorry about the internment camps, sorry for the Tulsa massacre, sorry about the Red Scare McCarthy days. It just never ends. And it’s always the same type of people coming into power that starts it. I’m just sick of the human race right now.

I have hope for the next generation. My daughter and her friends are a LOT more politically active then I was at her age. Also, they completely shun Trump-supporters at her school and we live in Nebraska.
