I'm in an event planning group with this person and she's always making snide comments about me. Like saying I always dress like I just walked out of the 90s (punk/grunge), asking me if I'm autistic in front of people we've both just met (even though we've known each other 3-4 years), and just making odd comments about me, my personality, etc.

She made this comment in the group chat regarding my email communication with our vendors for an event. In person, I'm lovely, warm, a leader. When I write professional emails, especially a mass email and I'm not personally acquainted with all the recipients, I keep out the fluff.
So sorry I'm an avid reader and use good grammar.

I had a friend like this. I thought he didn't like me. Turns out he was just raised with a group of guys he hung out with who used to constantly shit on each other.
When I asked if he had a problem with me, he laughed it off and said I was 'too sensitive.' So I stopped talking to him and eventually he came around and apologized for acting like a dick.
I'm like, that's cool but I still don't hang with him.
tl;dr = life is too short to give these kinds of people energy.
Thank you. I just never understand her motive....and that she does it publicly. I thought maybe she doesn't have good social skills or something but I think it's way more passive aggressive than that. I co chair a group with 3 other women and she's one of them.
