'Disney CEO Says Marvel Will Reduce Output To 3 Films & 2 Shows Max Per Year'
What happened to #MarvelStudios developing its own FX house, so they didn't overwork staff and could still produce more content? I thought that was the plan before Iger came back.
@jacklaridian 3 films and two shows still sounds absurdly high.
(But I grew up in the 90s when a movie every other year was a high point.)

Three films is fine, but I'm concerned about the 'two shows max' when there are so many stories that can be told.
@jacklaridian I think there is a market for a lot of smaller films, the "Made for TV" style, akin to Werewolf by Night. Do a low budget movie just to flesh out the MCU and let it stand on its own. We don't need ten episodes ending in a sky beam just to tell us a Power Pack story.
@jacklaridian They used to do a lot fun little things with the extra shorts they called the One-Shots, we could use more of that sort of thing.

This was before the SHIELD TV Show, and part of the reason he was popular enough to get that show. It's a great way to test markets and still make awesome small things.
@LexPendragon
I absolutely adored 'Werewolf By Night' I think we're getting another Halloween Special this year (fingers crossed), and I hope they do more stuff like that.
@jacklaridian I wouldn't be surprised if there's diminishing returns on glutting their own market. Especially for the series, they only need to make enough so viewers don't cancel their Disney Plus subscriptions.
@Space_Burger_Steve
Well, at least D+ still has Star Wars content.
