I was diagnosed in 2011, by 2020 my meds were maxed. My movement, balance, speech, rigidity and severe dystonia made it difficult to enjoy life. People think tremor.; it’s the least of problems.
#DBS was a relief. Brain surgery is scary. For some surgery while unconscious can be done. I was conscious, but was ok. Moving the probes and adjusting power, changed from muscle constriction to rubber. We found a medium in each limb.
