#books I've read in #2023
No. 1
Perish by L.C. Barlow
Book 2 in the Jack Harper trilogy
I got this as an ARC pre-house fire, and it sort of got lost in the shuffle. Too bad, because Ive6 really loved these Jack Harper stories so far. I have a B&N gift card sitting around, and buying Peak (book 3) seems like a good use for it.
Book no. 2 is #Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
I almost dnf'ed this one, but I'm glad I picked it back up. The first half is a slog, but the ending might actually be worth the "holy shit, get on with it" that came before.
