So, tomorrow is our wedding anniversary. We didn't pick the day for the day. We picked it because it was the day both we and the city councilor who married us were available. It was a quickie affair in front of the university library. @nerdybutcute was going to teach in China, and we wanted to be married first in case there was an emergency, to make it easier for me to get to her.

All this to say, we didn't *mean* to get married at the start of Pride month. At that point, we didn't even know Pride *applied* to us. Seven years can make a big damned difference. But I wouldn't change a moment of it.
