The Final Days: 3 A comedy short filmed at the end of Clinton's days in office. I watched it solely for Big Pete.
Pearl: 2.5 They forgot to make this horror movie a horror movie. X was much better, cheeseburger.
The Crow: 4 Industrial vinyl record, skateboarding, neo noir revenge love story wrapped in leather guitar straps and dripping with blood from removed eyeballs. My kind of movie!
X-men First Class: 3 I stopped caring about this film series long before this movie.

I loved Pearl, The Crow is all-timer and First Class is the BEST X-men movie period.
@jacklaridian "First Class is the BEST X-men movie period"
This is true; however, being the best of an awful series is hardly high praise
Having watched all the X-men movies, I've learned I hate "hero holds their hands out and strains their muscles to do a superhero thing" type movies.
I wanted to like Pearl. I loved the look of it, the throwback styles, etc. But it never went anywhere. It felt like the movie was just showing me things and asking "Isn't this creepy?!"
@tgpo
For me, I think Pearl is a gem for where it goes eventually. It's definitely a slow burn, but you can see the direction early and when she finally snaps it's just very visceral and raw. I've heard 'Maxxxine' is the best one, but I haven't seen that one yet. Loved 'X'
