If you don't see PRIDE celebrations (even 'family friendly' ones) as progress, I can't help you, but this post assumes A LOT about the #LGBTQ community. They aren't all obviously queer, they don't all hate children and they don't all feel comfortable with PDA. So, maybe 'casual observations' don't tell the whole story?
