Honestly just fed up with so-called 'leaders' of the church not taking a stand against hate. It's easy to say 'not all Catholics' but that doesn't mean anything unless the main voices of the religion will speak out and say 'Yo, we're not like that anymore!!' The older I get, the more angry I get at the fence-sitting on certain issues, while they take such a firm stand on other issues. Inaction speaks volumes, in my opinion.
he/they @jacklaridian @lifewithtrees I get it, and appreciate you posting but as a queer person and (still) recovering catholic myself I feel like calling out the pope is as effective as yelling at a brick wall. I take that energy and talk to catholics in person. I don’t think change will happen until it’s demanded from the bottom up.
