Speaking of concealing, I would argue that the trickle-down ideology that rich people getting richer benefits everyone, or the notion of libertarian free will and its corollary, that people are responsible for their poverty is just more of the same psychological mind fuckery used by conservative capitalists in arguing against investing in its citizens, reducing accumulated advantage, supporting a robust social safety net, or a Universal Basic Income in some form.
