@cjonthehudson I know right? What happened to those old blues singers was horrible and so many people covered those old blues songs but sometimes fans don’t even know and think it’s an original tune. I love this music so much.

@HorrorQueen This is the point at which I ruin most conversations with random people by pointing out that Led Zeppelin completely ripped off the Small Faces' ripoff of Willie Dixon's "You Need Love."

A lot of rock bands used those great old blues songs I just wish the old blues musicians got way more credit (and they should have been paid and treated properly by record companies too).

@HorrorQueen When I found out the reason John Lee Hooker had so many songs that were essentially the same song with a different title (or not) was because he figured out he was better off getting paid by the session than being owed royalties he'd never be paid . . . .

@cjonthehudson Can’t say I blame him. I would have done the same..How they were treated was beyond shameful. What they brought to the table was so authentic and soulful. I can’t get enough of the blues.
