boxd.itA ★★★★ review of Monolith (2022)Disgraced journalist turned podcaster gets an anonymous email and finds out about a heavy black brick which she thinks is leading her to evidence of an alien conspiracy. Interesting film is a “one-hander” in that there is only one person onscreen for the entire film, the interviewer. Every other person in the film is only there vocally. And I have to give credit to three people: Lily Sullivan as the interviewer who is terrific as the mystery unfolds but is unsure of what is happening and whether or not this is related to her prior disgrace of not fact-checking a
