This week our houseguest is a Dutch friend of my wife from 20 years ago, when they gave multilingual guided tours of #Stockholm 's beautiful town hall.

I just taught her that unlike in English and Dutch, you very rarely have tea and a cookie in Swedish. Because it means to own or possess tea and a cookie. In Swedish, tea is drunk and cookies are eaten. Unless you're talking about what's in your larder.

In Stockholm werden in der Innenstadt große Straßen in Tunnel verlegt.
Darüber werden auf 250.000 Quadratmeter Flächen frei, auf denen in 25 Gebäuden 7000 Büros und 2000 Wohnungen entstehen.
