Anya
I don't know if anybody that follows me or whatever decided to watch the latest #SilentHill transmission from #Konami tonight, but I found it very interesting!

The 3 creatives they had on to discuss #SilentHillf tonight were all very eager to reassure the audience that this game was indeed a Silent Hill game, and I can honestly see why.

Firstly, I'll note that everything they've shown of this game is totally my jam.

It looks like a combination of Silent Hill, Forbidden Siren, and Project Zero, which is basically a game made specifically for me (This Hole Is Mine! It Was Made For Me!).

The trailer was excellent. The artwork, aesthetic, design, audio, setting, and narrative all feel great.

However, it really does feel like this could be just any other Japanese horror game at the moment.

Setting it in the 60s is going to upset some people, or cause arguments to say the least, because that basically sets it before any of the previous games in the series and makes everything a bit complicated...or could make everything complicated.

I can absolutely see ways around it all narratively, especially if they're going to be working this into the larger world of the Silent Hill myhtos, but I'm basically predicting the large number of arguments and click/ragebait articles and videos we'll see up to and around release of the game.

But, all of that said, I am still very hyped for the game and will absolutely be buying and playing it.

#SilentHillTransmission
