Talking with a FRIEND about #Moana2.

F: A lot for complaints about NO confrontation with the antagonist…It’s implied in the credits for the sequel.

R: Of course.

F: Fuck you.

R: That’s why “Ninety For Chill: The #Podcast” doesn’t count #credits.

@RussStevens talking about #movies

R: That was a good flick.

F(s): “Wait for the credits.”

The worst sequels I wish I'd never seen:
☑️ Speed - Speed 2: Cruise Control
☑️ Caddyshack - Caddyshack 2
☑️ The Mask - Son of the Mask
☑️ Independence Day - Independence Day 2: Resurgence
☑️ Ant Man & the Wasp - Ant Man & the Wasp: Quantumania
☑️ Force Awakens - The Last Jedi
☑️ Forrest Gump - Gump & Company
(Never produced; book was too awful)
☑️ Ready Player One - Ready Player Two
(Never produced; book was too awful)

The A.V. ClubSummer of bummers: why 1983 was the worst season ever for movie sequelsBy Robert DeSalvo

Apparently, Béla Tarr is coming out of retirement to make Sátántangó, Part 2: Sátántangóer.

OK. He isn't. I made that up. It was just the most unlikely and unwanted belated sequel I could think of from the top of my head.

But such is the current trend for unlikely and unwanted belated sequels that I'll probably be able to dig this post up in a couple of years when it proves to be prophetic.
