A beautiful day to open the Petaluma North SMART train station! Now it's even easier to visit my friends at Henhouse and Lagunitas 🍻

Also a fun first: did my first press interview as Robin! KCBS was there getting reactions from folks who came to celebrate the occasion.

Hello all! Yes, I've been offline for a while. This is the last full day of my excellent, intense, awesome month in California. Tomorrow I start the drive back east.

But I've made the decision: I am absolutely moving (back) to Cali next summer, hopefully Petaluma.

It's exciting and yeah a little damn scary. But is so definitely the right decision.

Oof. Yes, I knew when I was coming to the Bay Area that October is often "summer" here but... this is a little more than I bargained for 😂

According to weather app, the high was 103F here in Petaluma today.

Luckily the Airbnb I'm staying in remains nice and cool, but it does mean I haven't gotten out and done as much walking and biking as I had planned. It's predicted to get more seasonal though.
