The #audiobook I'm listening to of #Hannibal is mostly fine and totally listenable, however regrettably the British narrator chooses to do his attempt at an #Appalachia accent when Agent Starling speaks, and it is a direct assault to not only my ears but my morals half the time. The list of British actors I've ever heard give a solid, not Foghorn Leghorn-y or half-cocked Southern accent (let alone an Appalachian) can be counted on one hand.

I've decided now that I've gotten to the Vergers to pause my rewatch of Hannibal until I read the novel Hannibal for the first time, knowing that it has a reputation for being much crazier than even the two loose adaptations of it. A few chapters in now after taking a walk listening to it.

I had excess energy so halfway through an episode of #Hannibal I went out and did 10 laps around what I call "The Loop" which is a long circle of sidewalks around the parking lot and sitting areas of my apartment building's grounds. No clue how long that is, but I spent the better part of an hour out there and broke a sweat despite only wearing a longsleeve shirt with no jacket.

The biggest reason? My audiobook streaming service had an Ann Rule book on Jerry Brudos.

If I was invited to Hannibal Lecter's house for dinner I would probably request a vegetarian dinner not because I'd remotely suspect him of being the Chesapeake Ripper but because organ meat is really gross and I don't think any fancy preparation would make me like it.

Subjecting the groupchat to reading me using basic serial killer classifications learned from years of #truecrime to establish that #Hannibal Lector in the TV series is probably a unstated pretty heavily implied bisexual.

This episode of Hannibal is only rated TV-14 and it has some of the most graphic gore I've ever seen on TV. I don't really believe in having ratings systems at all, and my parents freely let me watch R-rated movies as a kid, but maybe like EVERY episode of #Hannibal should probably be TV-MA.

Is it inappropriate to share this to wish you all a good Christmas if you celebrate it, and that your lunches and dinners make you as happy as #Hannibal?
