A little more work on the new scenario for Spells of the Symphony today, after we went on a tour of Colonial Williamsburg! I also started reading through a new book submission for Space Wizard.

This morning I'm sharing a brief thread on my freelance gigs, because social media sharing is good for the discoverability of these gigs and for the search algorithm within Fiverr, for better or for worse. (I'm not here to argue these points; please skip, if uninterested.)
First up, though it may require login, is my profile: https://www.fiverr.com/s/lj01yy7
I just ran into an interesting sentence to correct:
“Although European countries did X, Nordic countries did Y”
It’s time to fall over and relax. Editing is hard work. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I wish I could pay myself for doing it.
"The fast and pronounced editing style generates a form of expressionist editing that communicates individual and mass neuroses and sexual desire. The result, to borrow a phrase from Béla Balázs, conveys the crowd’s most 'expressive expression'. Put another way, here is editing that 'grasps what is behind' the characters and rips them frenetically to the surface."
Bernard McCarron, Le Brasier ardent (1923): Ivan Mosjoukine's clin d'oeil to German Expressionism.
Next is my fiction proofreading and editing gig. Those of you who have had me beta read know how careful and supportive I am as an editor and proofreader.

I've been MIA - latest blog
Mary, Mary, quite contrary, where the hell have you been?
No excuses, but I’ve been so preoccupied with editing projects that I haven’t had the time or the inclination to post. After working eight to ten hours per day, I couldn’t muster any more energy. So there. That is my excuse!
Bots wanting a refollow will be blocked and reported. Especially those masquerading as editors. And no, I won’t refollow.
My #current list:

Do you have any idea how long it takes to do custom transitions for like 70 #photos ?
About 5 hours apparently so you better like this because I deserve like 100 bucks for this if someone was paying me to make it.
I do accept donations if you're so inclined but I never expected a dime.

Just a compilation of my #photography with music about my #adventure through #losangeles the last few months.
Spend most of today on Space Wizard updates and monthly finances, but I did get edits done on two Lesbians in Space stories for the second anthology!
