Dr. Dani SanchezJoseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges (December 25, 1745-June 9, 1799) was an Afro-Caribbean French composer, violinist, fencer & political activist. Despite the racism of the era, he was extremely well regarded. During French Revolution he turned to politics and activism before dying young at age 53. Infuriatingly, his works were marginalized after his death due to racism.
