The group is led by Indigenous women and says it welcomes people of all races and nations to patrol with them. (Another community group called the Sleeping Giant Patrol had also formed, but has since been shut down.)<br> <br>"Ms. Tuesday says Wiindo Debwe Mosewin decided to offer a space free of <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/police" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>police</span></a> and <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/politicians" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>politicians</span></a>, based on years of mistrust.
