#Today 19:
Number two: "You know, Number six, English muffins really are better when fork-split."
Number six: "What makes an English muffin appealing is it's flavor, not the fork-split, razor-tipped, texture that flays the roof of my mouth!"
Number two: "How quaint, Number six. But it's the fork-split nooks and crannies that capture more of the delicious jam."
Number six: "I control how much jam I put on my toast. I refuse to allow toast divots to usurp my agency. And I am not a number, I am a free man!"
Number two: "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"
When #Severance gets into Lumon culture it's so damned goofy. The goat room, the Irving-head watermelon and so on. But then I remember as a kid I watched Patrick McGoohan get attacked by a murderous weather balloon and was 100% onboard for that, so I should probably just relax.

Danger Man (1960-68)
Patrick McGoohan starred as John Drake, NATO agent. The series was stop-start - two years on, two years off, two years on, two years off, then a final year. The initial episodes lasted half an hour. Then, due to the popularity of James Bond, Drake returned in hour-long episodes, this time as a member of the British secret service, working for MI9.
@Doctor_Roo After reading your review: I have to watch the 30 episodes of #TheTimeTunnel! Again? I hardly remember, may be 10 Episodes. I don’t own a disk player but there is no streaming :-( Apple+ is gone. Four episodes on archive.org
Microsoft&Prime not in Germany. Ah, I found a source, but will not name it here.
Watching an old series as there so many new I did not watch? The last old I watched was #ThePrisoner. British series always a bit odd :) TT is USA made. Well #TheInvaders did have some odd episodes too.
If you haven't seen The Prisoner, you won't have a clue about this. If you have, who do you think was Number One?
Pick a side!

Very sorry to hear that Christopher Benjamin has passed away. Some of you will know him best as Henry Gordon Jago from that classic Doctor Who adventure, The Talons of Weng-Chiang, but if you are around about the age that I am, then Mr Benjamin will be a familiar face from many a film and television series. He was in three (count 'em, THREE!) episodes of The Prisoner.
Not just a very fine actor but a splendid gentleman too.

Dance of the Dead was the 8th broadcast episode of The Prisoner - a chilling crossover into the horror genre. Find out more
A trio of Patrick McGoohan classics with overlapping themes: Danger Man adventures Whatever Happened to George Foster?, and The Mirror’s New (both 1965); the third, Dance of the Dead (1967), was the 8th broadcast episode of The Prisoner.
I'm a big fan of The Prisoner, so delighted to find this original novelization under the tree.

Geekout for today: I will never ever get over the fact that #BrassTarget (1978) gave us a scene of #NapoleonSolo and #ThePrisoner secretly plotting together on a train. #RobertVaughn #TheManFromUncle #PatrickMcGoohan #NumberSix #Film
️ Last Salute to the Commodore (Columbo, season five, episode six, May 1976) closed the season with a bizarre story directed by Peter Falk’s friend and trusted collaborator Patrick McGoohan, star of cult 1960s series The Prisoner. Commodore is divisive fare and many fans would gladly see it sunk to the fathomless deeps never to be seen again! Any fans?

When @gilahava704 takes in an episode of her ongoing #MurderSheWrote rewatch I like to shoulder-surf the notable guest stars of the week. This time it's frickin' Patrick McGoohan from #ThePrisoner playing an ornery Canadian lawyer!
@lysdexic things are waaaay more artificial and weird on the other side of town..
