Hippie Scuba Steve....(along with Dr. Fraiser) prepare to attack Hammond and the boys, but end up being captured. Dr. Fraiser comes up with a plan to use the men's "libidinous" nature (what a word), while under Hathor's control, as a means to escape. Sam says "Why do I feel like I'm in a 'women behind bars' movie?".Hathor is looking to turn Jack into her first new Jaffa! Holy Hannah! WTFH!The therapy tub in the locker room that Hathor was soaking in has become an aquarium for Goa'uld larva and Jack is about to be implanted with one of them.Hathor says to Jack...."The strongest of the larva will soon find your womb and move into it. At that moment, you will begin your service to us. Enjoy". Freaky!Dr. Fraiser inserting her hand into Jack's stomach area looking for an implanted Goa'uld larva reminded me of a scene from one of the Saw movies. When she doesn't find anything, Teal'c points out that Jack no longer has an immune system and will die soon without a Goa'uld larva implanted in him. This is some high drama!Teal'c says "I have seen the Goa'uld chamber do many miracles". Hathor's sarcophagus is used to save Jack's life. I love the following exchange between Sam and Jack....Sam (looking at Jack's stomach area): "Wow. Hippie Scuba Steve....but Teal'c is quick to point out "I have served the Goa'uld. I have yet to meet a good one".Sam finally says that she believes Hathor has put Daniel, Hammond, Jack and Teal'c under some type of spell. And just like that, Hammond offers Hathor a tour of the facility.We learn, in a significant revelation, that the Goa'uld larva come from Hathor and others like her. Daniel puts it succinctly when he says "You're like a queen bee".Sam does some online research and discovers stories of Hathor's power over men and how they would become "drunk with her presence". Dr. Fraiser describes what might be happening is the use of a super-pheromones combined with something like sodium pentothal (quite a concoction).Daniel has an interesting discussion with Hathor about how the Goa'uld larva are created. It turns out that the "code of life" (DNA from the host) is the key to assure compatibility for the Goa'uld child and the host. Hathor plans on Daniel being their first Pharaoh.Surprisingly, it turns out that Teal'c is immune to Hathor's powers of control due to the Goa'uld he carries within him.Teal'c makes Sam aware of Hathor's plan to take over Earth....Teal'c: "If I am correct, this base will become her nest. From here, she will populate your world with new Goa'uld. I cannot permit this to happen. Hippie Scuba SteveMy first watch of SG-1 continues. A thread....Apparently, burial chambers in Mayan temple mounds are a rare find, according to Dr. Kleinhouse. And an Egyptian sarcophagus as well? I'd get the hell out of there, pronto. But then where's the fun in that?Oh, yeah, and let's wake up the Egyptian goddess Hathor who immediately asks "Where is Ra?". And we're off and running with this episode.At the base, Jack and Daniel immediately recognize the sarcophagus as the same thing that was on Ra's ship (that brought Sha're and Daniel back from the dead).Hathor initially saying "We are Hathor" reminded me of The Borg.When Daniel explains that Hathor was the Egyptian goddess of fertility, inebriety and music, Jack chimes in with "Sex, drugs and rock and roll?". Jack being Jack.Hathor is looking for the Stargate at the base and calls it the Chappa'ai. Interestingly enough, Amazon Prime Video closed captioning presented this word repeatedly as "Chakatai".Daniel explains that Hathor was both the daughter and wife of Ra in Egyptian mythology, hence the "we" in a good portion of her dialogue.Hathor, wanting to know who the ruler at the base is, says to Hammond "You, with the crown of marble!". And what a crown it is.Hathor uses a strange pink breath mist to one by one put the men at the base under her spell.
