It stars William Windom as Randolph Lane, a plastic factory sales director who’s tired of his job, and indeed of life. In Pamela’s Voice, a harried husband is tormented by the ghost of the wife he murdered; in Lone Survivor, a passing ship rescues an unconscious man in a lifeboat labelled Titanic, three years after the liner sank; and The Doll is a tale of black magic.
