Michael Meckler<p>Hybrid lecture: 'Medical practitioners in the Medieval Gaelic world: Myth and history’ this Thursday</p><p>The University of Edinburgh's John Bannerman Lecture will take place this Thursday, 13 March, in person at 40 George Square at 5:15 pm GMT (= 1:15 pm EDT), with a promised 'hybrid' format. Kristie<p>Scottish place names are full of ghosts. They describe fields that are no longer there, forests long felled. Gaelic carries the memory of people, land, and place.
