Just got the most hilarious footage of a lens grid.

Roll camera. Speed. Slate.
Okay, get the slate out of there!
Now pull focus from the slate to the actual lens grid.

Congratulations! You just created the perfect example of how lens breathe affects the lens distortion and further validates what I have said for years:

ALL LENS GRIDS ARE WRONG!!! All of them! There are no exceptions to this rule.
😂 😂 🤣

This seems like kind of a long shot but…

Here is our daughter’s photography web site. She is an award-winning photographer, and we are very proud.

She is in her junior year at Carnegie Mellon, pursuing a double major in Professional Writing and Screenwriting with a minor in Photography. She would love to find a summer internship that uses her visual skills in cinematography/photography and allows her to work with other creatives. If you have any leads, I would very much appreciate hearing from you!

EDIT: Adding some hashtags for visibility

🎥 Emerging from billows of cigarette smoke, Mulholland Falls (1996) is a neo-noir in the mould of Chinatown. Though it never reaches those heights, there’s a lot for fans of the genre to enjoy. The stellar cast includes Nick Nolte, Jennifer Connelly, Melanie Griffith, and John Malkovich. Currently included with Amazon Prime in the U.K.

If you're searching for people who walk the talk when it comes to their values, look at director Steve McQueen. The Academy Award-winning British filmmaker behind "12 Years a Slave" and "Shame" has announced he will no longer attend the opening night screening of his new film, "Blitz," at Camerimage Film Festival in Poland over comments festival director Marek Zydowicz made about women cinematographers. “Although he has issued an apology, I cannot get past what I consider deeply offensive words. I have enormous respect for cinematographers of all genders including women, and believe we have to do and demand better to make room for everyone at the table,” McQueen told @Variety. Zydowicz appeared to suggest in a column published in Cinematography World magazine that greater representation of women in Camerimage's selection could lead to the inclusion of "mediocre film productions." Here's more.
