Carney’s starting to slide into sloganeering (I’m guessing it’s part of some coaching he’s getting in order to prepare him for the HOC).

I don’t like it. Part of Carney’s appeal for me was that he spoke like a regular human being, not in talking points.

“Trump was to break us so the US can own us” is becoming the new “we’re supporting the middle class and those working to join it”. 🤨
