Well, I take it back. I just listened to the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/StoneTemplePilots" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#StoneTemplePilots</a> remastered re-release of the album Core with a whole lot of really amazing demos, and now I think Filter sounds like a promising Midwest high school rock band.

My young existence & relationships were so fucked up at the time, that TOO MUCH of this album made sense. I felt everything Dulli was singing about.THAT & the band were so unique & SO good, I hadn’t heard anyone like them.
