@MevsMatze I was not a fan when at the time. I didn't see it until many years later. It was part of the huge surge of polished teen horror movies, and I was just a snobby punk rocker.

I later came to appreciate it as the culmination of #WesCraven's career.

While #NewNightmare creates a more terrifying experience, Scream totally wrecked the horror genre at a time when it desperately needed wrecking.
