You know, 1 thing I really appreciate about the writings of #CliveBarker is that he's unafraid to give us fat heroines. Any other #author would make these women out to be moral failures for being fat. Does Barker write us fat ladies the best? No. But even when he makes it clear the characters aren't society's standard of beautiful, he still shows they can kick the ass of sentient cancer or keep a demon distracted long enough to break a curse. That fat women can be heroes.
