He hears the voices in the corridor, the evil Emperor Cronenberg rescinding his intentions, insisting that Jason is to be transferred so that his regenerative capabilities may be analyzed. Ash argues, witlessly.
Jason snaps his bones through the binds, squeezes his head through
the collar spilling putrid ooze to the floor. His guard, Pablo, comes to investigate. Jason swiftly breaks his neck and hoists him into the restraint, covering his head.
Cronenberg and his militia enter, arrogantly they stride up to the hanging man and cower in recognition of their futile situation as Pablo's gored face is revealed.
Jason moves stealthily, a veritable ghost in the darkness, he tears chains asunder and garrotes one guard. Rips the gun from another and drives it through the hearts of his combatants. His enemies tremble in terror as he thwarts their respective escapes.
In one swift motion he drives his fist through Cronenberg's chest, tearing heart from soul. It beats one last time as the ailing body is slung through the doorway.
'Run!' A conceited man's final words to Ash Williams, who valiantly remains...
as far away from Jason as possible.
Ash rises from Cronenberg's cadaver and senses the awesome presence of the behemoth as he towers over The Chosen One. Ash considers his options, run or fight? Before final consideration is made, his legs make the decision for him, carrying him
rapidly to the stair well.
He descends, boomstick in good hand, heads towards the cryo-chamber, and Jason pursues at a slow, methodical pace. Ash opens the door to the stasis pod,
activates the cryo-mechanism and gallantly hides in the debris.
Jason enters the room, sees the
icy mists glowing in the pod. Ash leaps from the shadows and belts Jason's skull with one swift pump of his boomstick. The deadite falls into the stasis-pod and Ash seals the door. Glistening mists gain momentum. Ash breathes a sigh of relief as he falls against the hatch...
In that moment of foolish complacency, the mighty machete drives through the solid cage and pierces Ash's ribs. A safety mechanism is triggered, the room's main door seals as frosted particles fill the air. Realising his fate, Ash cries out, 'Noo!' As his body becomes a glacier!!!!
